A Myriad Garden Engagement Session | Oklahoma City Engagement Photographer

Clayton proposed last November at the Oklahoma City Zoo, and their love of Oklahoma City brought them to the Myriad Gardens for their engagement session and upcoming wedding.  Erin claims that she liked Clayton first, but when you see the way he looks at her, you see that they find home in each other.

"We have a mutual dorkiness that just clicked.  From Halo to Harry Potter, we have always enjoyed geeking out together," Erin said.  But I have to say, their self-proclaimed "dorkiness" is right up my alley!

We celebrated their engagement at the Myriad Botanical Gardens and took a quick stroll around downtown Oklahoma City.  (It was a below-freezing day!)  At the Myriad Gardens, I just happened to pass a family I know from Race Dance, and was able to capture a few moments of their holiday adventure.  As I was wrapping up the session, I walked by a spontaneous & romatic proposal, caught it on camera and now get to send a few snapshots to them.  It was so joyous to witness, and with my camera in hand no doubt.  What a way to end a year!
